TASI speakers show how its done @ IFFI

The Animation Society of India made its debut at the prestigious International Film Festival of India at Goa this year. TASI presented a variety of films including a retrospective of Indian animation, contemporary and upcoming feature animation films. Amongst its distinguished speakers were the maestros - Bhimsen and VG Samant. Ram Mohan who was also scheduled as part of the original troika could unfortunately not be present due to urgent commitments back home. The retrospective films attracted an interesting crowd to the hall. Films from yesteryears that shaped many a career were showcased bringing back pleasant memories to the seniors in the audience. The highpoint was an interaction with the Gurus where they shared lesser known facts about the history, making of, concepts and hardships they faced while making the films.
